‘Scale’ is a visual exploration of how new geographical locations can challenge our established boundaries and connections, and open up new possibilities for growth and self-discovery.
At its core, ‘Scale’ is a reflection on the ways in which our physical surroundings can shape our sense of self and our relationships with others. Whether we're moving to a new city, country, or even continent, the experience of starting over in a new place can be both exhilarating and disorienting, as we navigate new social norms, cultural expectations, and ways of being.
Through a series of processes applied to cardstock, the pieces invite viewers to consider how moving to new locations can help us break free from old patterns and limitations, and expand our sense of what is possible.
‘Start Today’ is a series of projects where progress is the goal and procrastination is the enemy.
